Days 354 - 356 (Wed 7/10/13 - Fri 7/12/13)- South Burlington, VT

Home to about a third of Isaiah's family, South Burlington is a lovely town and as close to Corvallis as you can find in New England.

Staying with Aunt Martha and her husband Jeff we had a fantastic two days being literally waited on hand and foot and getting to know his mom's family a little better. The first night we had a great dinner with most of the Vermont family, followed by interesting discussions and air conditioning.

Our next day was even more eventful with the neighbor threatening to call the police because our van was "unusual looking" and because he "didn't want to look at it all weekend" (apparently the neighborhood association has a lot of extra time on their hands) and we were able to be a part of reuniting a 3-year-old who had wandered out the door with her befuddled mother.

Reluctantly leaving the comfort of Martha's home behind we spent Friday driving through the Adirondacks Mountains. Though very difficult to correctly pronounce, the mountains were beautiful and (except for Vandrea) were thoroughly enjoyed.
