Days 275 & 276 (Mon 4/22/13 & Tue 4/23/13)- Western Florida

On both Tuesday and Wednesday we took several different scenic drives, a few of which ran right along the water's edge. The scenery was beautiful but the drive long and required several stops to break it up.

One of these stops was at a funky little Goodwill in a re-modeled building in a posh resort town with stain glass windows and a tile mosaic entryway. We were elated to find everything half off, yet our excitement evaporated when we saw everyone else in town had come for the sale too. After I tested Isaiah's patience I emerged from the store carrying a few bags and a lot of guilt.

We briefly drove through downtown Tallahassee but as with other big cities parking was expensive ($10 to park at a free museum?!?) and evasive so we saw a smidge of it by way of the freeway (also because a resident of Tallahassee confirmed that there wasn't much to do).

Stopping again in the city of Cedar Key we were treated to views of the mini keys, a few people fishing and an elementary school whose mascot is a shark (*shiver*).

In the evening we watched the movie The Intouchables. I cannot say enough good things about this fantastic French movie.
