Day 326 (Wednesday 6/12/13)- Virginia Beach, VA

Home to the hip hop duo The Clipse we imagined Virginia Beach would be a cool place. Instead the highlights were a former trash mound and a psychic who slept through his sessions.

Starting our day at Mount Trashmore (a landfill re-claimed and made into a city park) we were disgusted to see people actually running up and down the slope of the hill. This wasn't because it was made of decomposed trash but because it was really hot and really steep.

Next we visited the beach but had such a bad experience we wished we hadn't. Unlike lovely Myrtle Beach the waves here were massive and moving so fast. Isaiah lost his prescription sunglasses in a sneaker wave and I got knocked on my face trying to retrieve them.

Finishing the day at the Edgar Cayce ACE we learned about this controversial psychic popular in the early part of the 1900's for the readings he would give while asleep. Upon waking he would claim not to remember any of the things he had said including answering people's questions, talking about the end of creation, re-incarnation and even healing people. Though skeptical we can at least say he did way more in his sleep than we do.
