As Andy Griffith did many times growing up we had breakfast at Snappy Lunch. The food was good, the atmosphere most definitely small town and the food did come in a snap.

Days 332 & 333 (Tue 6/18/13 & Wed 6/19/13)- Mt. Airy, VA
Home to Andy Griffith the real Mayberry was certainly not the 1920's town depicted in the show but about as close as you can get. Within the few minutes it took to check the van's fluid levels we had gotten two offers for help. Though help wasn't needed we were impressed regardless.
